After years of providing dedicated service and experiencing remarkable growth, our beloved company, a leader in the vehicle wrap industry, has officially been sold.

Big Rig Wraps is excited to announce a dynamic new chapter under the ownership of Anthony Ranaweera and Minoli Silva, seasoned professionals with extensive experience in advertising, marketing, and sales. With a strong understanding of brand visibility, campaign strategy, and audience engagement, Anthony and Minoli will bring fresh energy and a strategic vision to the company.

Anthony’s expertise in sales and brand positioning, combined with Minoli’s deep knowledge of out-of-home (OOH) advertising position them to lead Big Rig Wraps into an exciting new era of smart, results-driven marketing. Together, they aim to further elevate Big Rig Wraps’ influence in the mobile advertising space, building on the company’s proven track record, and remain committed to delivering bold, effective campaigns that drive real value for clients and make lasting impressions on the road.

Since its inception, Big Rig Wraps has been driven by a passion for innovation and excellence. We are incredibly proud of the journey we’ve shared, marked by numerous awards and achievements including an Ajax Pickering Board of Trade Business Excellence Awards Nomination and recognition through the prestigious PMTC Awards Program, which has bestowed a total of 7 accolades for our wrap designs, including 4 awarded to the Know Human Trafficking Campaign wraps that reflect our commitment to quality, creativity, and our community. However, our success isn’t just measured by the number of wraps we’ve designed and installed, but is also reflected through our dedication in giving back to the community through various charity initiatives including the ALS Society of Canada, Feed the Need in Durham, The Kidney Foundation of Canada, and The Salvation Army of Canada.

The past few years have presented unique challenges, and like many businesses, we faced the need to adapt and change. Following the onset of Covid, we successfully pivoted our services to meet evolving market demands by expanding our expertise to offer comprehensive fleet graphics and commercial signage solutions, while ensuring that we continued to serve our clients with the same high standards.

Throughout our history, we’ve had the privilege of working with an impressive roster of clients, helping them make a powerful visual impact. Our portfolio includes collaborations with major brands such as Yokohama Tire Canada, TELUS, Kelseys Original Roadhouse, Tahinis, and many more businesses who entrusted us with their branding needs. To date, we have proudly wrapped over 1,500 vehicles and transformed them into moving billboards and powerful marketing tools.

As we embark on this new phase, we also wanted to share some news regarding our CEO, Angela Baltkois. Angela is transitioning into a semi-retired role, but rest assured, her invaluable experience and guidance will not be lost. She will remain an integral part of the Big Rig Wraps family by continuing to provide strategic support and ensuring a smooth transition for the new ownership.

We are confident that Anthony and Minoli will continue the legacy of excellence, innovation, and community spirit that Big Rig Wraps is known for. We look forward to seeing the company thrive and reach even greater heights going forward.
