Oliver Dawson created a Beer Tour of Europe as part of a newly created loyalty program. So, in 1998 he hosted 42 happy people from across Canada on this first ever Beer Lovers’ Adventure. The concept of “Beer Tourism” was born and it was in that same year that he established the Beer Lovers’ Tour Company!

Since then the Beer Lovers’ Tour Company has taken beer lovers to England, Ireland, Wales, Bavaria, Iceland and Mexico, as well as our Toronto tours.

With the expansion of the craft beer renaissance in Toronto at the turn of the last century, Toronto beer tours became a possibility. The first Old Toronto Beer tour was in the winter of 1998 and has been running continuously since, and has become one of the top Trip Advisor activities in Toronto!
